JFK Tutoring, Inc.,/dba/ TutorWell.com offers individualized tutoring instructions to students in elementary through adults. TutorWell.com is a premium in-home service for customers throughout the continental United States. TutorWell offers over 5,000 tutors for customers to choose from for in-home tutoring encompassing everything from elementary to college subjects. Our tutors are highly qualified and certified. JFK has been providing first class tutoring services since 2003. Students learn to achieve by sharing the knowledge and experience of our accomplished tutors through one-on-one or small group sessions. We honor and praise God for every new student.

Frequently Asked Questions How does JFK address the needs of struggling students? We start by identifying the student's specific needs with an aligned standardized test diagnostic. Then we proceed with a personalized grade level lesson plan. We maintain a daily progress chart to record mastery of activities. Parents and guardians will be involved every step of the way with a daily reinforcement log and progress reports. How does JFK teach reading and math? JFK uses a hands-on and multi-sensory approach for all students. Students will be able to ask questions during and after new activities. The student will have a private tutor that will be there every minute. Struggling and advanced students will be able progress at a rate that is suitable for them. We utilize a combination of manipulatives, JFKs 5-day reinforcement system, technology, and a lot of patience to teach reading and math. Does JFK use programs that are scientific and researched based? Yes, our program addresses the principles of best practices as set forth by leading researchers in the field of literacy and mathematics. These principles have been recognized in the No Child Left Behind Act as well as in the sets of professional standards published by professional organizations such as the International Reading Association and the International Dyslexia Association. Our program is also fully integrated and aligned with the Sunshine State Standards, National Teachers of Mathematics, and the National Reading Panel. What percentage of the teachers/tutors are highly qualified? 100% of our tutors are highly qualified and certified. All tutors that are involved with providing supplemental education services are certified teachers or tutors with an associates, bachelors, masters degree or higher. How often does the student meet with the tutor? The student will meet with the tutor once, twice or as often as the parent wants per week. Each session will be 1 or 2 hours long. Where does the tutoring takes place? Tutoring services will be in our facilities, in student's home, in student's school, in a local library or any public place near student's home. Our facilities are fully equipped with the latest technology. Does JFK offer incentives to students? Yes, JFK offer incentives to students based on mastery of activities, grades, and behavior. Incentives may include movie tickets, skating passes, bowling, and other prizes. How often does parents receive progress reports? Parents and teachers receive a report on student's progress after every session. Teachers are encouraged to submit feebacks as often as possible; therefore, coordinating tutoring with classwork.
